The users
The VENIVA project addresses different types of users:

Traditional users of archives and libraries (students of art, history,
architecture, economics and law; teachers, researchers) could use
the virtual archive for the reading room services.

Public or national authorities (e.g., cultural institutions like archives
and libraries) could foster the access to the virtual archive
if not even enrich it with their own collections of
ancient documents.

Scholars and authors could publish their traditional and
non-traditional works on the Internet editorial collection of the VENIVA virtual
archive.

Publishers (external information providers) can enhance the creation
and circulation of new on-line products and added-value services.
