A series of local services that can otherwise be called "reading room"
services will be offered for free to the VENIVA users:
- Consultation of descriptive cards of archival and bibliographic documents
- Hypertextual navigation in the virtual archive
- Full-text retrieval
- Field searching
- Thesaurus consultation
- Indexes consultation
- Finding aids consultation
- Demonstrations
- Access to available electronic catalogues, guides and bibliographies
- Access to other on-line databases
